"Controversial Islamic preacher" Zakir Naik is due to speak at St David's Hall in Cardiff on Saturday as part of a conference called Educating the Educators.
According to the Western Mail:
Dr Naik has asserted that all instrumental music is haraam (forbidden), except a one-membraned drum.
All instrumental music? A one-membraned drum?
I can't see Tangerine Dream making much of a concept album with that. I don't think, with all due respect, Dr Naik has thought this one through.
