David Cameron is pulling no punches when it comes to tackling the big issues confronting Britain.
WHAM! First he laid into the scourge of chocolate oranges.
BAM! Then he hit out at Radio One DJ and vicar's son Tim Westwood.
KAPOW! And today Dave was brave above to raise his head above the parapet and take aim at another of the nation's ills - Russ Abbott's impersonation of a Scotsman, last seen on TV in 1994.
“All too often Scots switch on their televisions to be greeted with ignorant and inaccurate stereotypes. Whether it’s Russ Abbott-style lampooning or the inevitable aggressive Glaswegian drunk in TV programmes, the cumulative effect can be depressing. Even as an Englishman, I find it embarrassing.”
Next week: Cameron blasts Jimmy Cricket for 'Ulster cliches' and the Grumbleweeds for 'hackneyed portrayal of Yorkshire'.
