Number 86 with a bullet

According to über-blogger's Ian Dale's new book, this site is now officially The 86th Best Non-Aligned Political Blog in Britain. Lord alone knows how it's worked out, but cheers all the same, it'll look nice on the CV, and it's only one place below Trevor Kavanagh.

More honourable mentions go to Peter Black, who can consider himself a fair bit unfortunate to only be ranked the fifth best Liberal Democrat blogger, Leighton Andrews, who manages to crop up both 24th and 96th among the Labour blogging fraternity, and David Davies, who makes it to 61st among the Tories despite his, um, 'irregular' postings.

Top overall are unsurprisingly Conservative Home and Guido Fawkes among Tories and non-aligned respectively; Kerron Cross, the councillor whose leg Kevin Brennan did his best to knacker in a football match, is top Labour man; while the best Lib Dem site is apparently something called Liberal Democrat Voice.

I shall be buying pints in Dempsey's, Cardiff, later tonight.

Damn, and I am in Brighton. Will you be buying pints in Dempsey's on Tuesday or Wednesday when I am back in Cardiff? :-)

Dempsey's at weekends, The Yard on weekday nights.

We're sticklers for routine.
