A few people have asked why this blog has no links, and whether it is indicative of me being rude or having no blogging etiquette, especially when the great and good have been kind enough to link to here.
Alas, although I am rude, that's not the reason - the fact is, this Movable Type blogging system which Trinity Mirror uses has no option to install a links panel on it, and from what I can see the only other option would be to include them in a post which would disappear as and when I updated.
I asked the folk in IT how I could include a list of links on the frontpage, and they suggested a roundabout route so complex and difficult they might as well have suggested I tried doing Chinese arithmetic whilst white water rafting, so eventually I admitted defeat and gave up.
That's the reason. If anybody out there with a better understanding of this kind of thing has any idea how I can put a list of links up, drop me an e-mail and I'll attempt to sort it out. Ta.
