Going on and on

Recorded an interview today for a radio station planning a documentary on Rhodri Morgan's legacy once, as they assume, he shambles off into the sunset - or, more likely, the Pen and Wig pub in Cardiff - after the Assembly election in a fortnight.

This entailed the rather odd experience of remembering to talk about the First Minister in the past tense while discussing what he's achieved or otherwise and how history is likely to remember him. A bit like giving reaction to a football result before it's even kicked off.* And particularly odd as I don't expect for one minute that anyone other than Rhodri is likely to emerge as First Minister once the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed on a coalition deal in May, and hence the interview will probably never be broadcast. Still, it was a pleasant day for a drive.

*Although, as our sportsdesk reminds me, Toshack's Wales actually do this now - holding one press conference prior to qualifying double-headers, preventing any reaction between the result of the first game and the start of the second.

Bloody hell, there are so many things to 'add' this blog to I don't know where to start. Perhaps I should just 'verb' it in one form or another.

If you can explain what each of these buttons does, which I doubt very much, I will by the first drink on Friday. ..

I haven't got a clue.

Unlikely to be there on Friday, alas, attending the leaving shindig of two WoS veterans. Do enjoy.
