Prior to last night's Dragon's Eye was a Party Political Broadcast for the Socialist Labour Party, a tiny group of far-left ex-Labourites standing in the Assembly Election on a ticket of increasing the minimum wage to £10 an hour and pulling out of the EU.
Its PPB was fronted by Liverpudlian comedy actor Ricky Tomlinson, who spoke of ending the "racism, sexism, ageism and all the social evils surrounding us have been caused not just by years of Tory and New Labour government misrule, but by capitalism".
By a remarkable coincidence, this is the same Ricky Tomlinson who was a member of the National Front for four years after hearing Enoch Powell's "rivers of blood" speech. "Some of them were really nice guys worried about their kids and their country. They weren't skinheads or thugs," he says. Lovely stuff!
