If it's not nailed down

It saddens me to report, in our crime-blighted nation, not even the offices of the Welsh Assembly Government are safe from light-fingered thieves.

In the past year, new information shows the 'Security Team' have been called in no fewer than 13 times to investigate allegations of theft from WAG property.

Massive heists include a box of truffles taken from an office in Cathays Park in March, £3 pilfered from staff in December and a pair of safety shoes stolen last September.

On top of that, August saw six electrical fans go missing and in February a probe was launched into the disappearance of a civil servant’s box of Quality Street. Is nowhere safe these days?
