Final proof the world had gone completely mad came last night as Peter Sissons, a man so stern he could out-stare a paper bag, presented BBC News 24.
“Collette Hume there,” he said, before stating with all the sincerity he could muster, “reporting on the final hours of Shambo”. Marvellous stuff.
