Poor old Lord Kinnock. His contribution to an auction of celebrity pictures in aid of the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England - a doodle of the sun rising above hills entitled England at Dawn - raised just £36 when sold yesterday, according to the Independent.
Perhaps he chose the wrong charity to contribute a drawing with the insinuation England is better when seen from Wales...
