Alas! October 13 is the first day proper of the Welsh Liberal Democrat Conference, so I'll be in Aberystwyth. Otherwise, I'd obviously be here - a celebration of the birthday of Margaret Thatcher, held at Fairwater Conservative Club in Cardiff and hosted by the Cardiff West Young Conservatives.
"Will there be any port?" inquires one of those attending on the event's promotional Facebook page, as if such a question required asking. And I thought Young Conservatives were called Conservative Future these days?
