Big thanks to charity Education Action, which has just put out a press release to promote International Literacy Day listing the favourite words of the MPs who bothered to respond. Only one from Wales, alas, got back in touch with the organisers, and that woman is Bridgend Labour MP Madeleine Moon. Her favourite word is 'laughter'.
"Because without laughter the joy of life is diminished and friendships between different nations, cultures, religions and creeds are dinished," she says.
More interestingly, George Galloway says his favourite is 'indefatigability'. Does he really want reminding of this particular word?
