What's ex-Culture, Sport and Language Minister Alun Pugh been up to since losing his seat in the Assembly back in May?
Well, the former AM - whose name can now be written being having to be prefixed with "beleaguered" - has spent the last six months climbing, only getting back in Wales two days ago. First he took himself off to the Alps before tackling Mount Kilimanjaro.
“For the last eight years I’ve been working 60-hour weeks as an AM,” he explains.
“Before that I spent 15 years in further education. So really there’d been no opportunity to fulfil one of my lifetime dreams.
“I couldn’t say, ‘By the way Rhodri, I’m going to the Himalayas for six weeks’.”
But now he's back, he claims he will be unveiling a new “professional project” next month, although he refuses to disclose exactly what it is.
“At the moment I can’t say much about it but I will be making a public statement in due course, he said enigmatically,” he says. “It’s a very interesting project, but I will be making a press statement.”
You guess, as they say, is as good as ours...
