Last week, we mentioned how former Wrexham AM John Marek had left the sign outside his office advertising his services as an Assembly Member.
This week he's completely unapologetic about it - even confessing he's continuing to take on constituents' cases.
“I don’t want to badmouth my successor but the number of people coming to me saying they’ve had no help whatsoever is a steady dribble, I’m afraid,” he says.
“So, absolutely, I’m not saying I don’t take any cases up. Yes, I do. I’ve been doing a number of things helping people with Jobseekers’ Allowance and various things”.
And that election defeat has done nothing to dent that famous Marek modesty. “If there was another election today I’d win by a mile," he says. "But there we are.”
