Lying on my desk is an invite to Wales Secretary Peter Hain's Christmas reception. He requests the pleasure of my company, apparently. Which is nice.
Not that it's an exclusive club: Plaid have received invitations for a number of their ex-AMs, including those who stepped down at the last election, with the letters 'AM' still following their names. Bless them: nobody's thought to tell the Wales Office.
