First Minister Rhodri Morgan has had his two penn'orth on the rugby, passing on his congratulations to the Welsh coaching staff and allowing himself to dream about what might be (post-devolution, you'll note, we only win the Grand Slam under a Labour-led Welsh Assembly Government):
"What a fantastic start for Wales! This is a great result and a real boost for Mike Gatland, Shaun Edwards, Rob Howley and the team. It is bound to bring back memories of 2005, when we also started off the tournament with a narrow victory against England. We must remember there is still a long way to go, but this is the best possible start."
All good stuff, and only slightly spoiled, we feel, by the fact the new coach is called Warren, not Mike, Gatland. Still, the press officer concerned did correct it later on, so we'll spare their blushes and name no names...
